Remote work, coworking or workation as the combination of work and holiday feeling - these are trend terms for the work of tomorrow that are already a reality today at the START.N start-up centre in Kitzbühel/Austria. The "Verein zur Förderung der Gründerinnen und Gründer im Bezirk Kitzbühel" initiated the project together with the Sparkasse der Stadt Kitzbühel, Regio-Tech and the Kitzbühel Chamber of Commerce in order to make the Kitzbühel district attractive for young entrepreneurs.
ELA Container has set up START.N. as a mobile workspace for start-ups and new founders to get their business idea off the ground in the comparatively inexpensive rental space. "Working creatively in the co-working area of the START.N centre during the day and recharging your batteries in the mountains after work is now even easier in Kitzbühel," says investor Gregor Gebhardt.

In addition to the pure workspaces, which can be rented on a long-term or daily basis, the mobile space solution also offers plenty of room for communication, interaction and networking between start-ups and established companies and experts. "At START.N, start-ups can rent their workspace in the centre of Kitzbühel without any worries and remain extremely flexible as part of their business development," says Dr Klaus Winkler, Mayor of the well-known winter sports resort.

Over two floors, 47 ELA room modules offer a total of 23 offices, seminar rooms, sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a café. In good weather, a roof terrace invites you to take a relaxing break or enjoy a casual chat. A high-speed internet connection, furnishings and air conditioning are also included. Each workspace can be individually branded by the tenant. The total area of the modern workspace concept is around 830 square metres. Light-coloured interior walls and ceilings combined with large windows create a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to a wheelchair ramp manufactured by ELA in accordance with Tyrolean building regulations, people with physical disabilities can also use START.N.
"Even planning the project together with the investor was an exciting creative task," says ELA project manager Steffen Winter.

"The rental and sale of cost-effective and customised rooms is in our company DNA - that's why we were happy to make everything possible that the customer wanted," says Winter. From development to delivery with ELA's own lorries and installation by experienced ELA assembly teams, everything went smoothly.
