THE LÄND is the name of a comprehensive information and image campaign by the German state Baden-Württemberg to promote the quality of life and economic strength of this region in southwest Germany. The campaign also provides information about major projects such as the construction of a modern correctional facility in Rottweil. For the duration of the construction work, the state has rented an individually designed, two-floor room solution from ELA Container as an info point. Anyone interested can visit the unit to find out about the new Rottweil correctional facility and the progress of construction.

The info point consists of three extra-wide ELA construction containers with a total interior space of 54 m2 and two roof terraces for a total of 90 m2. From the observation platform, visitors have an excellent view of the construction site for the new correctional facility.
Rotzinger reports that cooperation with the customer was excellent, for example in the implementation of special exterior design requirements. The color scheme for the ELA room modules in sulfur yellow and special decals featuring a logo and graphic elements reflect the communication design of the THE LÄND campaign. The two floors are connected by galvanized steel steps on the outside. White walls, large windows, and LED lighting concept make for a bright and friendly interior. ELA Container also supplied the electrical installation, heating technology, fire safety features, and smoke alarms. The interior is equipped with tables, padded stacking chairs, filing cabinets, double lockers, benches, and wardrobes.

The state of Baden-Württemberg has invested around 280 million euros in the new Rottweil correctional facility. It will have a total of 18 areas with a total usable space of 25,463 m2 and a capacity of 502 inmates.
