Landal GreenPark GmbH, headquartered in Trier, Germany, operates vacation home parks in many European countries. One is Het Land van Bartje in the Dutch province of Drenthe. Biking, pony riding, hiking, swimming, or playing in the hay – Het Land van Bartje offers vacation fun and relaxation for the whole family. Following a major fire, the bicycle rental at the vacation park is unusable. ELA Container Nederland is providing a mobile room solution so that park guests do not have to go without a rental bike.

Guests can rent bicycles from a wide selection right at the reception.

A total of eleven ELA containers, covering around 200 m2, house the rental reception and a bicycle workshop in addition to the “fietsen”.

Thanks to the good collaboration with the client, ELA realized a new modular building for the bike rental service in just four weeks, minimizing the inconvenience and allowing the guests of Landal Het Land van Bartje to rent bicycles again.

ELA Container also supplied the heaters and efficient LED lighting. A double door makes for a spacious entrance. The customer added a wooden carport. The park plans to rent the solution for around 18 months until a permanent rental facility is reopened.

The bicycle workshop makes sure everything runs.
Rental bikes are in high demand at vacation park. As such, there is a great need for bicycle storage space.

“The containers literally saved us from the fire,” says park manager Inge van der Greft. “It was a great help that ELA was able to quickly plan and deliver the right solution for us.”
