We participated in this year’s Wings for Life World Run 2026 for the first time as a National Premium Partner and made a striking appearance right in the heart of the action at the official Flagship Run on May 10 in Munich.
With this involvement, we also continued our successful collaboration with Red Bull in the sports and events sector. Last August, we had already provided the necessary infrastructure for professional FMX athlete Luc Ackermann’s spectacular motocross jump. At the Wings for Life World Run, we were once again part of an international sporting event organized by Red Bull in partnership with the Wings for Life Foundation, with the goal of raising funds for spinal cord research.
The partnership centered on an “Athletes & Creators Hub” in Munich’s Olympic Park, created in collaboration with Red Bull. The two-story container facility served as a central meeting place for well-known figures from the sports world, Red Bull athletes, and high-reach content creators throughout the event.
The modern container facility included, among other things, a spacious catering area, changing rooms, lounge areas with live broadcasts of the race, a physical therapy and recovery area, and a spacious rooftop terrace with a direct view of the starting arch and the Olympic Park. Right in the heart of the event, this created an exclusive meeting place and retreat for athletes, creators, and partners.
The event was complemented by an open exhibition container on the grounds, which quickly became a popular gathering spot for visitors and participants. There, runners could stock up on glucose tablets and electrolytes, among other things. An interactive photo booth also drew additional attention, allowing participants to document their personal running goals and the distance they had covered.
In addition to our presence at the event, we also participated in the Wings for Life World Run as athletes: 41 employees took part across Germany—including in Munich, Billigheim, and other locations via the Wings for Life App Run.
Being part of this event as a National Premium Partner was a special highlight for us. The Wings for Life World Run connects people all over the world—this extraordinary energy was clearly palpable everywhere in Munich.
The Wings for Life World Run is considered the world’s largest running event. In 2026, 346,527 runners and wheelchair athletes from 192 nations took the starting line simultaneously worldwide. A total of 9.2 million euros was raised, 100 percent of which goes toward spinal cord research. In Germany alone, 59,100 people participated.
